Back On Track Cool on Track Evaporative Cooling Dog Coat - Blue - Multiple Sizes

Beat the Heat — Cool on Track Evaporative Cooling Dog Coat

Whether they're keeping pace at the ranch or waiting ringside at a summer show, the Back on Track Cool on Track Dog Coat helps your barn dog stay comfortable when temperatures climb. No gels, no freezer — just water and a little evaporative science.

This coat uses evaporative cooling material to lower surface temperature by roughly 6°C (11°F). Soak it, wring it out, and your dog has a portable way to stay comfortable and ready to go, whether you're on the trail, at the trailer, or ringside.

Why Dogs (and Owners) Love the Cool on Track Coat

• Fast evaporative cooling — lowers surface temperature by over 11°F using only water, no chemicals, gels, or freezers required.
• Breathable mesh shell — maximizes airflow so the evaporative cooling keeps working consistently, not just for a few minutes.
• Long-lasting moisture retention — the PVA and cotton lining holds water and releases it slowly for cooling that lasts.
• Customizable fit — heavy-duty hook-and-loop closures at the neck and belly adjust for deep-chested breeds or slim, athletic builds.
• Doubles as a cooling mat — unzip and lay it flat for a quick cool-down spot at the show grounds.

Best For

Active dog owners and equestrian competitors looking for a chemical-free way to help their dog stay comfortable during hot-weather activity and travel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I size the Back on Track Cool on Track Dog Coat?

Measure your dog from the withers to the base of the tail — that back-length measurement determines the right size. Check it against the size chart for your dog's specific fit.

Q: How do I store the coat when it's not in use?

Store it slightly damp. If it dries out completely, the material stiffens, so soak it thoroughly in water before unfolding it again.

Q: Can I use this during transport?

Yes — it's a popular choice for trailer rides to shows or events where airflow can be limited, helping keep your dog comfortable en route.
