Precision Sizing & Fitment

When selecting Myler bits for dressage, achieving the correct fit is paramount. Myler bits are designed with a specific "overhang" standard, measuring approximately 1/8" larger than the stated size. For a proper fit, ensure there is 1/8" to 1/4" of the bit visible on each side of the horse's mouth. If your horse falls between sizes, we recommend sizing up to prevent pinching of the lips and to ensure the port sits correctly over the tongue.
