Fit comes first
Start with the lining you prefer and the shape that works with your saddle setup. A good match depends on fit, condition and regular care.
Explore cinch sizing & materials →Use your correctly fitted current cinch as a starting point, then confirm the manufacturer’s measuring guidance for the model you choose. Check buckle placement and elbow clearance with your saddle. If you are unsure about fit, ask an experienced saddle fitter before riding.
Start with a model that fits your horse and saddle correctly. Compare the lining your horse tolerates well and the cleaning routine you can maintain. A trail-riding label alone does not establish fit or make one cinch best for every horse.
The contoured fleece model has a fixed liner. The contoured neoprene, Merino wool and SMX neoprene models have removable liners. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for the specific material, and inspect the cinch and hardware regularly.
