Professional's Choice PC DOT Shank Dog Bone Horse Bit - Sweet Iron Mouthpiece with Silver and Turquoise Accents

Weighted Cheeks and a Dog Bone Mouth With Turquoise Style

Best for: Western riders looking for a dog bone shank bit with added poll pressure and clean lateral movement, finished with turquoise dots.

The Professional's Choice PC DOT Shank Dog Bone Bit, listed by the maker as the PC Turquoise Dot Shank, pairs a dog bone mouthpiece with 6" weighted cheeks in a 5 1/4" mouth.

Professional's Choice says the weighted cheek gives more control and added poll pressure while keeping lateral movement clean. The dog bone mouth has a center link, so it breaks in two places rather than one.

The cheek pieces are polished steel with decorative silver and turquoise designs. The bit will rust when exposed to moisture, which the maker says creates a sweet taste in the horse's mouth and promotes salivation, so brown spots after riding are normal.
