Professional's Choice Schutz Lip Cord Lead - AQHA Approved Poly Cord Horse Handling Lead with Leather Stoppers

A Firm Poly Cord in Place of a Chain

Best for: Experienced handlers looking for a lip cord lead with a firm poly cord instead of a chain for showing and grooming.

The Professional's Choice Schutz Lip Cord Lead is made with a firm poly cord instead of a chain. Professional's Choice lists it as AQHA approved humane.

Leather lead stoppers hold the cord in place, so it stays where you set it rather than sliding through as you work. The lead pairs a black braided cord with brown leather.

A lip cord is a handler's tool, not an everyday lead rope. Use the lightest touch that gets an answer, release the instant your horse responds, and leave it to people who are comfortable with one. Check your show's current rulebook for where and on which horses it may be used.
